Sir Keir Starmer plans to press supporting countries to supply Ukraine with more long-range missiles to hit Russian targets during talks in the UK capital on this Friday.

Britain's leader plans to receive Ukraine's leader Zelensky alongside the so-called "coalition of the willing", comprising more than 20 of Ukraine's allies who have agreed to grant Kyiv defense assurances once hostilities pause is arranged.

The Ukrainian leader has been urging for weeks for additional extended-range systems from the West, a move that Moscow has stated would escalate the war.

The Ukrainian president is coming from the EU capital, where he met European Union officials on Thursday seeking funding aid.

The Prime Minister will encourage delegates to increase the supply of long-range weapons following a productive attack on an industrial facility in the Bryansk region, Russia, using UK-provided Storm Shadow missiles.

Several minors were among at least seven killed in multiple Moscow's attacks on Ukraine, which hit a nursery in the second biggest city Kharkiv.

Economic Talks

Britain's leader will confer with Western allies on how to take Russia's petroleum resources out of worldwide commerce.

Delegates will also consider using seized Moscow funds to supply Ukraine with monetary support, while the proposal faced divided opinions and regulatory obstacles at the EU conference on the previous day.

European Union declined to approving a plan to employ approximately €140 billion in blocked Moscow funds to economically support Ukraine.
