I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
